Interview with Dave
JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Dave: We were given green pants with a flexable
waistband, green shirt that said Wichata County
on the back and plastic sandals. You could keep
the socks and underwear your wore when you came
in.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Dave: Just what they gave us.
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Dave: They didn't have anything extra. You could buy
thermals and socks from the commissary but they
were pretty expensive.
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Dave: Women wore white.
